What started as journaling her frustrations with the Berlin dating scene became Lulu’s first book.

An Irish native, Lulu moved to Berlin in 2015 with a suitcase full of societal expectations. It wasn’t long before she realised that dating in Berlin is anything but straightforward.

In 2022, Dating in Berlin- Tales of Modern Love & Relationshipswas published. A witty, brutally honest, and laugh-out-loud collection of real-life dating stories, from toxic relationships to having a beer with an axe murderer.

In 2023, Lulu decided the next step was to start a podcast. 130 episodes later, Dating, Laughter & Disasters has evolved from recording with her phone to performing in front of live audiences.

Since 2024, Lulu has regularly taken the stage to share her stories at live podcasts and hosts regular singles events, including Blind Date Berlin.
